The Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP) offers an Express Entry-linked stream to help skilled foreign workers gain permanent residence in Canada — faster. If you’re in the federal Express Entry pool and have a valid job offer in the province, this stream could give your profile the extra points it needs to receive an ITA from IRCC.

Step-by-Step Process
Get into the Express Entry Pool
Apply through IRCC and get your Express Entry profile number.
Secure a Job Offer in Newfoundland and Labrador
Job must be in TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3.
Must offer at least 30 hours/week and last for at least one year.
Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI)
Use the Immigration Accelerator Portal.
No fee to apply.
Get an Invitation to Apply (ITA)
The Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism will review your EOI.
Submit Your Application
Within 60 days of receiving an ITA.
Receive Regular Updates
Track your status through the NLPNP dashboard.
Apply for Permanent Residence via IRCC
A provincial nomination gives you 600 extra CRS points.

Have a Canadian degree/diploma or valid ECA
Not own more than 10% of the business employing you
Be admissible to Canada (no serious criminal or misrepresentation issues)
