Occupations in-demand

Summary:

The International Skilled Worker (ISW) stream is one of Saskatchewan’s most popular immigration pathways under the SINP. It targets foreign workers with the education, skilled work experience, and language ability needed to successfully establish in Saskatchewan’s labour market.

There are three subcategories under the International Skilled Worker stream:

  1. Express Entry – For candidates with an active Express Entry profile.

  2. Occupations In Demand – For skilled workers with experience in occupations not requiring a job offer.

  3. Employment Offer – For candidates who have a valid job offer from a Saskatchewan employer.

Who Can Apply?

You may be eligible to apply if you:

  • Are a skilled worker with post-secondary education or training;

  • Have relevant work experience in a high-demand occupation (unless you have a job offer);

  • Meet minimum language requirements;

  • Want to live and work in Saskatchewan permanently.
