Summary:
To request GCMS notes for an applicant, you may request this service by depositing the fee here & by sharing your visa refusal letter and passport scan at info@pcici.ca
There are two types of ATIP (Access To Information & Privacy) requests:
- Visa officers detailed notes with refusal reasons.
- A copy of all the documents & forms that were submitted as a part of your application to IRCC, as well as any communication between IRCC and your account.
The first option is useful when re-applying for a visa application, or to challenge the decision. While the second option can be useful where you either have lost access to your old application’s documents or perhaps another representative applied on your behalf and is unable to share the documents with you.

Processing Times for ATIP
The processing times for receiving GCMS notes is relatively quicker, on average about a month. Whereas, the processing time for receiving a copy of the complete application can usually take longer.
