Business Immigration Stream
Summary:
The New Brunswick Business Immigration Stream is a provincial economic immigration pathway designed for experienced entrepreneurs who are ready to establish, operate, and actively manage a business while living in New Brunswick permanently.
This stream has replaced the now-closed Entrepreneurial Stream.
Under this stream, eligible candidates must establish or purchase a business in New Brunswick, manage it full-time for at least 6 consecutive months, and meet the terms outlined in their Business Performance Agreement (BPA) before they may be nominated for permanent residence.
Program Requirements
To be eligible to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI), you must meet the following criteria at the time of application and nomination:
Minimum Eligibility
Be between 19–59 years of age
Demonstrate language proficiency of at least CLB 4
Possess a minimum of a Canadian high school diploma or its foreign equivalent
Have a verifiable personal net worth of at least:
$500,000 CAD (general applicants)
$300,000 CAD (agriculture sector applicants)
